GETTING READY FOR THE ETERNAL JOURNEY

GETTING READY FOR THE ETERNAL JOURNEY

B i s m i l l a h i R a h m a n i R o h e e m

All praise is due to Allah, May peace and blessings be upon the Messenger, sallah Allah alaihi wa salaam, his household and companions.
Allah forgives whom He wishes and Punish whom He wishes.
It is by His Might we have lived to witness another Jumuah today and we ask Him with His Mightiness to continue to shower His Blessings upon our Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW) his household, his wives, his companions and those who follow his footsteps and teaches it, till the Day of Accountability. Amin

As Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu!

For Allah so much Love the world; that He Sent down Hundreds of Prophets and Made Muhammad (SAW), the Seal and end to Prophethood.
Allah Sent down four prominent Holy Books and Made the Qur’an the Noblest and Model to them all.
He Creates Human beings and Gives them Authority over other creatures. He Gives us Islam as a way of Life to prevail over other Man-made religion and he who follows Islam shall prosper and be saved on the Day of Judgement.

Allah is the Creator that does not have any creator of HIMSELF; Allah Created every things in pairs including the creation of Shaytan (May the Wrath of Allah Be Upon him) that mis-lead and He created the prophets that lead to the Right cause (May Allah Be Pleased with them all). The Light of Allah, all attributes of Allah exist before man was created; Allah Has knowledge of all things and Has power over every thing.

“Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and earth? Indeed, that is in a Record. Indeed that, for Allah, is easy”. Q22:70

The Greatest thing Allah Has done for man is that; He Gives us intellect; thought and freewill but as a Test. He who makes use of them shall prosper in this world and in the hereafter.
You should make difference between certain things and by so doing; you can make a way out in getting closer to know how well to prepare for the next Abode.

First step is recognition of oneself; what is oneself? Who is oneself? A man can not understand himself until he understands the magnitude of Allah. The difference between man and other animals are : Allah Gives us Intellect, He gives us choice(will power), Allah Gives us the knowledge to identify bad and good, right and wrong, the ability to worship Allah willingly. There is a perfect correlation between the Self and the Divine Self if only then Body preserved the soul very well. There is different between Me and the anybody because if refuse to use my body which eventually will be dilapidated, to serve Allah, that will be my problem. Then, there are differences between Body and Soul; you can not dirty the soul but you can put it in the place of Dirt and in fact when the Soul is allowed to exist outside Divinity, we say it is LIFE.

My brothers and sisters in Allah’s Deen; let us thank Allah for His mercy on us. What if we are created a Dog, Donkey, Monkey or Guinea Pig? Alhamdulillah we are created Man and a Muslim. The battle between Truth and Falsehood is as old as man himself and the Struggling of man will remain between the material world and the Spiritual Realm.

The Material components draws man down wards and the Spiritual components tries to elevate him up; because Spiritual purification brings Spiritual Elevation and the truth is; Spiritual Elevation brings spiritual Illumination. Let us clean our Heart with enough zhikr and reading of the Noble Qur’an always. Our Heart is the seat of feelings, feelings like happiness, sadness, love, hatred, envy, jealous, joy, desire, etc are experiences of the heart and can not be described in any concrete form.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Qoyyum Al-jawziyyah (RH) wrote in his book Al-Faraiid (page 235). He said “There are four types of thought which are the most sublime of all thoughts and these four are followed by another four important thoughts:
The first 4 thoughts are:
1. The welfare of one’s Hereafter
2. The ways of achieving such welfare
3. The Repulsion of the evils of the Hereafter
4. The ways of avoiding such evils.

These are followed by 4 other thoughts:
1. Thoughts about the welfare of one’s worldly existence
2. The ways of acquiring such welfare
3. The evils of the world
4. The methods of protecting oneself from such evils.

The Shaykh said it is on these eight categories that thoughts of the sane and smart man should center.”

Man has been honoured by Allah with the power of choice (will power) and he should be able to overcome this struggle and become successful in the Hereafter.
The questions we need to answer and act upon are:
1. Who brought me here?
2. Why have I been brought here?
3. To where is my destination?
Anybody who wants to be successful in life must have some special times he uses to talk to Allah (i.e.) doing Azkar. If you want to master anything; it is your spirituality you need to master. There are so many people that are being controlled by their souls but what Allah Has told us is that we should take control our souls, with this we can build up bravery and courage when you go into the realm of spirituality and you will become solidified. Let your soul be subservient to you when you crave for the good of this world in order to achieve.
This is how the messenger of Allah (SAW) would teach his companions, the mastery of their selves and how to control it. Occasionally; he would ask them question at the time when they are most hungry; that who among them would stand up and promise that he would never ask from anybody except Allah and they would stand up to make the promise, to an extents that; their horse whip will fall they wont ask anyone to pick for them. This is just to train them to know how to have the control over their desires.

Abu Dharr Jundub bin Junadah (R.A) Said: The prophet of Allah (SAW) Said: “Allah; The Exalted and Glorious Said; “Oh my Servant! I have prohibited injustice and have made oppression unlawful for you; so do not oppress one another. Oh my Servant! All of you liable to wrong doing except the one whom I guide on the right path, so seek guidance from Me, so that I will guide you to the Right path. Oh my Servant! All of you are hungry except the one whom I feed; so ask food from Me, I will feed you. Oh my Servant! All of you are naked except those whom I clothe; so ask clothing from Me and I shall clothe you. Oh my Servant! You commit sins Night and Day and I forgive all sins; so seek my forgiveness and I shall forgive you. Oh my Servant! You neither do Me any harm nor can you do Me any good. Oh my Servant! If the first of you and the last of you ,the Human of you and the Jinn of you are pious as the most pious Heart of any man of you; that would not increase My Majesty a bit. Oh my Servant! If the first of you and the last of you; the Human of you and the Jinn of you to be wicked as the most wicked Heart of any man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom a bit. Oh my Servant! If the first of you and the last of you, the Human of you and the Jinn of you gathered in one place standing and make a request from Me and if I Give every one what he requested from Me; that would not decrease what I have and what I gave is less than a needle if put in the Sea. Oh my Servant! It is your deeds that I Reckon for you and then Recompense you for; so let him who finds good in the Hereafter praise Allah and let him who finds other than that, blame no one but himself”

Success comes to those who become success conscious and failure comes to those who indifferently allows themselves to become failure conscious.
The longer you work in the right direction, the closer you are to success and whatever the mind can conceive and believe; it can achieve.
If Allah Has created us to feed our bodies, grow up and eventually die; then Death is not the issue but for what you LIVED and DIED.

It easier said than done, please for Allah sake, do pray for me and my family and extends the Dua to my love ones and you; that we all should live successful in this world and become products of Greatness in the Hereafter…Amin.

Insha Allah, with HIS Grace, We all meet there in the Gardens of Jannah.

“Allahumma inni ala Zikrika wa Shukrika wa husni ibadatika” A very powerful Dua'a like I said last week,Please do not forget me in your Dua Always, May Allah forgive us all in our Shortcomings and Accept our Repentance towards Him.

"May Allah continue to Guide and Guard us aright. Amin sumo Amin

Wa Salaamu Alaikum Waramotullahi Wabarakatuhu
